Jim Barbee is a strategic regulatory and technology advisor with 25 years of leadership experience at the Nevada Gaming Control Board, including 14 years as Chief of the Technology Division in one of the world’s most respected gaming jurisdictions.

He works with investors and executive leadership teams operating in highly regulated or high-scrutiny environments to identify risk early, strengthen readiness, and support enterprise decision-making during periods of investment, growth, operational change, or transition.

His experience includes directing the regulatory oversight of complex, statewide gaming technology systems critical to the conduct of gaming across the State of Nevada. He also led a comprehensive modernization of the core regulatory information systems used daily by the Nevada Gaming Control Board to support essential regulatory operations for an industry central to Nevada’s economy.
